The Second Edition refines the original with updated packaging, upgraded components, refined card balance, clarified rules, additional story cards and streamlined mechanics all packed into a brutally replayable 30ish-minute experience.

Q: What's different?
A: A lot actually! We've tweaked a lot of the cards, added some clarity to the rules, a few new situational cards, damage tokens to better keep track of things during battles, and a fancy new box!
Q: Will you be selling upgrade kits for those who have first edition?
A: Unfortunately, no. Almost every card in the game has been touched in some way, the rulebook has had a major upgrade, and we've added damage tokens. Not to mention the cards themselves now have a linen finish. We received overwhelming feedback that the quality of the cards in first edition weren't top tier, so we took that to heart and now have a better quality stock.
Making upgrade kits with that much change is basically selling the entire game again, minus the D20 and tracking cubes.
While we deeply appreciate those who supported and love first edition, we think second edition should stand on its own.
Q: When will pre-orders ship?
We're in the final stages of approvals from the manufacturer and hope to greenlight production by July 10 2025. We typically receive our product within 30 days of beginning production, so we're looking at around mid August 2025. We will send updates to those who pre-order about the progress, and we will definitely maintain transparency and let everyone know if that target date shifts at all.
